“Two Cars and a Life Lesson.” That’s the title Claude gave to our conversation about this project, and I find it fascinating how the AI analyzed and “internalized” this script—which I had written “the old-fashioned way” and provided to it earlier—to then play a significant role in shaping the story.

This isn’t the first project in which I’ve used Claude to help me create my work, but it has been the first in which we’ve had a conversation that I would describe as having philosophical undertones.

The result is a short story that invites reflection on youth and the desire to take on the world, and the harsh reality faced by those who have already been through it.
